Who are Great Lakes Reinsurance SE?

Great Lakes Insurance SE, UK branch is EEA Authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and as such must meet minimum standards agreed across all EEA countries.

Tyne and Wear claims handling – our angel of the north.

All claims are administered and paid from our insurers experienced claims team in North Shields, Tyne and Wear.

Claims team telephone lines are manned between 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday. Claims can be made out of hours and at weekends by leaving a recorded message on the claim team telephone number and by following up with another call on the next business day.

The claims team are highly trained in Gap, Tyre and SMART and Alloy Wheel Insurance claims and will work quickly and efficiently to deal with your claim. Always follow the claims process outlined in your policy document.

Hertfordshire sales and customer support

Our sales and sales administration offices are in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire – a short distance away from Stansted Airport. Our telephone lines are manned between 9am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday and 10am – 2pm Saturday.

As a specialist insurance intermediary established in 2007, we have been in Hertfordshire since our formation and have been listed as an authorised and regulated firm with the Financial Conduct Authority since 2007.

We recognise and understand that UK based customer support and claims handling is important to our customers and for that reason, we do not and will never operate or utilise any overseas call centres or customer administration functions.
