Set-up by parliament and funded by the financial services industry, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme is a completely independent and free service.

 

If, in the unlikely event, we cannot meet our obligations to you, you may be entitled to compensation from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). 

 

The level and extent of compensation provided will depend on the type of insurance and the circumstances of the claim.
